Apprenticeship days 2017

As in the last years, our "senior" trainees organized the "Apprenticeship days" for the newbies. In order to meet future colleagues and the company, the "newcomers" spent three days in teams together with the "old" trainees and trainers in order to start their careers with a strong team spirit at the end of their apprenticeships.

On the first day, the four new trainees and the new year trainee were warmly welcomed on the balcony of the seminar room by the managing directors and the trainers in the old tradition.
A relaxed atmosphere was created by some games and presentations. After a refreshment in the canteen, the new trainees visited the company together with their trainers and got to know the individual departments. In the afternoon, a business plan on the topic of "soapboxes" was prepared for the next day.

On the second day, after a short presentation of the business plan and the breakfast, we started building the soapboxes. The three trainers in particular attached great importance to high-quality technical equipment and a unique design. First test drives promised an exciting race the following day. Before the speeders could be painted afterwards, the new trainees built their own INOTEC light, which they were allowed to take home with them.

The third day began with a presentation of the D. E. R. system, carried out in the in-house simulation room. After a refreshing breakfast in the canteen, the soapboxes were taken to a nearby hill to find the fastest team. However, not only speed but also driving skills were required for the obstacle course.
A successful conclusion was the joint barbecue in the afternoon. The winning team of the "Team ToniTec" soapbox race was chosen.

The new trainees were able to start their careers with a positive perception of the "Apprenticeship days" and were thus able to start their working lives in a pleasant way.
